Disconnect if idle for minutes
ComSocks will disconnect your dialing connection if it finds no activity for the period of time on this connection.

Keep alive if idle for minutes
ComSocks will auto get a web page from the Internet if it finds no activity for the period of time on this connection

Dial On Demand
ComSocks will dial your ISP when it detects some Internet activities, such as a HTTP request or an email request. If your web browser is using NAT and you enter a domain name in the URL, it won’t dial the Internet(see the next option if you want a guaranteed dialing). You can use an IP address or configure the browser to use the traditional proxy in order to trigger a dialing. It is true for email too. If you want to trigger a dialing, using an IP address in the mail server box in the configuration of the email software..

Don’t Dial Internet when receiving DNS requests
If you don’t want ComSocks invoke dialing when processing DNS requests, OR you have experienced a spontaneous dialing, please check this box (default). Because SOCKS clients require DNS services, you can’t check this box if you want Dial-On-Demand to work for this application (i.g. ICQ).
