OutLook Express
The following information is only necessary if you are using a traditional
proxy server. If using NAT, you don’t need to configure these.
In your client computer,
- from menu bar, select Tools->Account
- click Mail Tab, then click Add button
- in the Internet Connection Wizard, select POP3 mail type
- in the Incoming Mail field, enter your gateway’s ip or name, such as
192.168.0.1.
- in the SMTP Mail field, enter your gateway’s ip or name
- when you finish the Wizard, select the mail service you have added in Mail Tab
- click Property button
- in Property window, click Servers Tab
- verify your server’s name should be your gateway’s ip or name
- click Advanced Tab
- verify the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) port is 25, and the Incoming Mail (POP3) port
is 110. Those numbers are matching the Proxy Port in ComSocks.
