OutLook Express

The following information is only necessary if you are using a traditional proxy server. If using NAT, you don’t need to configure these.

In your client computer,

from menu bar, select Tools->Account
click Mail Tab, then click Add button
in the Internet Connection Wizard, select POP3 mail type
in the Incoming Mail field, enter your gateway’s ip or name, such as 192.168.0.1.
in the SMTP Mail field, enter your gateway’s ip or name
when you finish the Wizard, select the mail service you have added in Mail Tab
click Property button
in Property window, click Servers Tab
verify your server’s name should be your gateway’s ip or name
click Advanced Tab
verify the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) port is 25, and the Incoming Mail (POP3) port is 110. Those numbers are matching the Proxy Port in ComSocks.
