AOL Instant Messenger
Make sure you have enabled SOCKS and DNS daemon in ComSocks.
- Click Setup button from the Sign On window to bring up the Connection window
- Click Connection tab, then check Connect using proxy option
- Enter the IP address of the gateway computer into the Host field
- Enter the SOCKS proxy port number (default is 1080)
- Check the Protocol option SOCKS 5
- Check the option Use proxy to resolve hostnames
- Click OK to accept the changes
