If you have installed an older version, please follow the uninstallation/installation instructions here:

Shutdown the Service engine in the Service menu and exit the Manager from the File menu first (important!). At this point you have two choices. First, you can uninstall the software completely from the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. Make sure to reboot the system after uninstallation. Delete all files in the Comsocks/Comtun directory. Or alternativelly, you can leave the old version in the system without uninstallation (not recommended because you may crash your system after the installation, however, you can preserve all of your settings, so before you do, think it twice). Download and install the new version or the version you want from our web site (you can ignore the warnings), Reboot the system after the installation.

If you crash your system during the installation, you can reboot your computer to the SAFE mode under windows and uninstall the software.
